I remember when I was doing my undergrad, no accompanist wanted to play the Hindemith. (I never wanted to, either..)

I've found a grand total of two pianists who would perform the Hindemith Sonata with me, one being a Juilliard piano graduate and the other being a former child prodigy who toured in Europe.
