This Tuba Tuesday the Museum features a Holton, Model 99, BB flat tuba, 4 piston, 1966.

“ELKHORN WIS. / USA” on bell.

This is the tuba that went on to be called the 345. It is still highly sought after by professional tubists for its broad, orchestra-filling sound.

Bell is 19 7/8″, bore is .750″ & height of 37 3/4″
