"Live" Brass Quintet Concert Tuba Camera

Post by Dan Tuba »

Here are a few short "live" tuba excerpts from my community Brass Quintet "Red River Brass." It was fun to be able to perform for people again 😃

It's a titanium Giddings Alan Baer Original CC. I have played a 24AW for years, but recently switched (October/November) at the recommendation from one of my colleagues at work. So far, I really like it. Is it worth. $500... maybe not 🤦😂.

Due to a health condition, I have developed a sensitivity to certain types of metals. Titanium seems to be the best for me. Otherwise, I use Kelly Mouthpieces. Either their version of the 24AW, or the 50.

There was a guy selling a titanium Baer Original F that I wanted. He doesn't appear to visit the other forum anymore either.

I have a Titanium Baer MMVI CC if you want it? I tried the MMVI first, but the rim wasn't good for me, but the Original Baer worked much better.

I prefer the Original C4 Rim on them, but thank you.
