Looking for the tuba part to...

Post by Stefan A »

I would like a copy of the tuba part to Malcolm Arnold's "Four Cornish Dances." Orchestra version. The orchestra I am playing with has this programed for the fall, but it's a bear of a part and I would like to practice it now. It's a rental, and they WILL rent it. So I feel like I am not doing anything too bad here. Anyway, if you happen to have a copy of the part, I would appreciate it.

Howdy! Welcome to the forum! This one seems hard to pirate. I'll keep trying, though..

We'll have to find a time for you to try my PT-15.

Thanks buddy. Because I have a feeling people are not going to have this, I started the tedious process of screenshotting the tuba part on the score found on youtube. Line by line. I got the 1st mov't done. But I still wouldn't mind a clean copy if someone has it.

Here you go. Please let me know when you have downloaded it so I can delete the link, since it is a rental. Only 1 and 4 are difficult, and (for me) 4 turned out to be more of a challenge than 1. 1 is just some repetitive banging around. 4 requires the correct style and snap, and I would recommend searching for a good recording to grasp it fully. There are some nondescript-looking accents that *must* be there.
