Re: solution for heavy tubas
If our tubas are too light, can we do the same but with a bag of sulfur hexafluoride dragging along the ground?

If it’s tourist season, why can’t we shoot them?

I take walks with my dogs near a golf course and I see players with remote controlled golf bags that follow them around the course.
What about a playing stand with a robot base?
Re: solution for heavy tubas
BTW, the golf course is on one side of the path and this is on the other. Photo was taken yesterday.

Re: solution for heavy tubas
Just get one of those humanoid robots which are already designed and built and have it standing there handing you stuff that you need right when you need it. Don't waste time designing and building something from scratch...Mark wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2026 1:47 pmI take walks with my dogs near a golf course and I see players with remote controlled golf bags that follow them around the course.

... and forget drones. They are too damn noisy to use in a concert or rehearsal. The not particularly noisy clicks and buzzes associated with a humanoid robot are no louder than people constantly getting up from their seats (sticking their nasty butts in others' faces) in the middles of pieces of music.

Now I'm hungry. It's been a while since this Easterner ate elk steak!
