20 plus years ago, when I bought my first tuba, it was between the ycb 661 and an mw30.
For the 20 year old version of me, they played very similarly to each other. I ended up buying the MW, because it cost $1,000 less. The Yamaha was an excellent instrument.

There was a Yamaha CC that seems to match the description at Baltimore Brass last Wednesday. I'd give them a call. I think the price was around $5k.
