Come on:
It makes more sense than using natural gas to make fertilizer and petroleum into diesel to build and fuel farm equipment to grow corn to distill into alcohol to add to gasoline to reduce gas mileage, or consuming epic amounts of petroleum products to build, ship, and install windmills and solar panels to generate less electricity than they could possibly ever save in petroleum use before they wear out or are destroyed by storms...
...not to mention that - when they are disposed of - they don't biodegrade (oh yeah: and those huge windmills feature gigantic rebar-reinforced circular and deep concrete bases, whereby the land on which they were erected is permanently ruined for any other type of use).
