Re: Need Beta Testers for Quintet Arrangement
Looks like a fun arrangement, though I won't have a chance to play it in time for beta testing feedback. Regarding sellability, I'm in my early 50s and only know the song from a cover by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. My wife and I even have a Rankin/Bass Christmas DVD set (that doesn't include the relevant show), and until tonight we had no idea where this song originated. It seems to have slipped into obscurity.

love that movie. We watch it every year with the kids. Even as young adults, they still enjoy it.

Re: Need Beta Testers for Quintet Arrangement
Performed it last night, and only the GenXers and their kids responded, but they LOVED it. The others, including some in the quintet, had never heard it. The two in the quintet who did not know it are both "zoomers".
I know what needs to be done to this arrangement now, after last night's gig and the feedback two of you gave me. THANKS!
Taking it down, now.
I have The Ride and Tchaik's Romeo et Juliet tonight and Sunday, then Fantastique all next week.
Busy, busy…
PS - I got a lot of usable info from last night's performance of Rudolph Played the Tuba and revamped parts of it today. I think it is super solid now. Let me know via PM if you want a free copy.
