yes...I have a line of mouthpieces...so you can roast me all you want, but...
mouthpiece/reed A: [really complimentary adjectives which don't mean anything in particular]
mouthpiece/read B: [other really complimentary adjectives which don't mean anything in particular]
mouthpiece/reed C: [yet other really complimentary adjectives which don't mean anything in particular]
me (I hope...)
Hell..I dunno, try it and either keep it OR (don't fug it up) send it back.
reeds: nope, you can't return those. If they're terrible, just use them when you need to sound bad.

not this time, but I have some nice $12 2 oz. bottles of valve oil (which will solve ALL of your valve sticking problems and help you win the National Sousaphone Championship. Also - just in case you identify that way - it's homeopathic.
I might suggest formula #7...endorsed by world-renowned musicians

Re: mouthpiece and reed ads
As I've mentioned quite a few times on this platform, people come in to have me do stuff to their tubas and don't even seen concerned in the least that their valves are all gunked up with disgusting snotty stuff and sticking badly. This has even been the case when a professional guy came here one time before making some solo recordings. They didn't want me to clean their valves which were horrible (with the ports all stopped up with that weird snotty stuff), they just wanted me to put some soft felts on them so they wouldn't make noise that would be picked up by the microphone.MiBrassFS wrote: Thu Nov 06, 2025 4:07 am My valves don’t stick. They’re “clean and in good repair…” Heh, heh…
