SOLD! - King fiberglass sousa - SWEET and SUPER-LIGHTWEIGHT

Post by bloke »

I put off buying one for several years (as some of you noticed) until I found one that checks all the (my) boxes.

I finally found this one, removed all the small valve section dents, touched up the lacquer, re-painted the body, AVOIDED repainting the bell interior (to preserve the logo, as well as avoiding that "repainted" look), and I'm looking for a quick $2000 cash (firm, please).

Preferably, I'd like to sell it to someone who is within a driving day-trip, so as to avoid the hours involved in packing/shipping.

I'm including this OK-condition fiberboard case...

If you don't want it for yourself, maybe (??) you're a middle school band director and would like to have it for the occasional parade, outdoor event, or middle school football/basketball game. (...so a school P.O. or band booster check would be OK...please add $200 if sold to a school), but I'd MUCH RATHER sell it to an INDIVIDUAL for $2000.

King sousaphones: my personal favorites...I'll probably replace it later, but (again) I'm trying to quickly round up $2000.

I ALWAYS offer stuff here FIRST, because I feel like I KNOW you guys.
(I'll wait a few days to put it on Frankentubas of Tuba/Euphonium, and - hopefully - one of you will have bought it, by then.)
Also, ya'll have probably noticed that I offer stuff for prices for which it will sell, rather than having them languish, and dropping my prices bit-by-bit...
