Happy Tuba Tuesday. Today, the Museum features a Buescher, E flat tuba, 3 piston, c. 1911.

Serial #: 15571

Bell Diameter 14”, Bore Size .610, Height 30.75”.



“THE / Buescher / PAT.OCT.29.07 / ELKHART / – IND. – ” within floral design on bell. “1”, “2”, and “3” stamped on first, second, and third valves, respectively. “15571” stamped at bottom of second valve. Buttons on second and third valves not original. Patent indicated is Ferdinand A. Buescher, “Wind Musical Instrument,” U.S. Patent 869,619, issued 29 October 1907.
