Here is the finished horn. New smaller valves, leadpipe, and 5th valve. The horn is much more dialed in.
At some point I will try and tuck the 5th valve in the body of the horn, but it was too much work to accomplish and works ergonomically.

Tuba looks great. Nirschl pipe, right? It looks remarkably similar to a 2165 with that valve section on it!

Yes, nirschl leadpipe.
The raw brass finish and Mienl Weston style block does make it look like a 2165.
MW briefly made (I think there’s two examples) a 6/4 CC that had 3 branch loops instead of 2 like the 2165.

I’ve seen that. Didn’t Chris Olka have one? A 2164 or something?
