WTB: Mouthpiece for Besson Recording Tuba
WTB: Mouthpiece for Besson Recording Tuba. Fairly inexpensive would be great- needs to be smaller, euro/Besson shank. Anyone have anything for sale that would work?

Austin Custom Brass has a prototype of their tuba mouthpieces for sale with what they call a “smaller shank,” not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for but it’s been there for a while so if anything you might be able to haggle the price down!

If you can find a used Wick 1 (no letter is the original British smaller shank), that is the mouthpiece that was designed for all these large .730 bore BBb tubas: comp, non-comp, conventional bell, recording bell. Huge tone, great intonation.
