York 700 carcass -Sold

I have a York Band Instrument Co. 700 BBb tuba bugle (no valve cluster) that asked to find a new home. The metal is in good shape but the horn has plenty of dings and dents. Nothing that looks scary to repair, but there are enough to keep you busy for a bit. All joints are unsoldered (loose) except the bell stack to bottom bow joint. Leadpipe is included, fairly rough but certainly de-dentable. Bell screws (with the fancy York cross screws so that the main ones can't fall out) and lugs are in fine shape, as are both bell collars (tapered).

A King 1240-2341 dogleg and smallest bow fit nicely to replace the same York parts if you'd like to flip the bugle around and use a front action King valve set, although I have not checked what that would do to the bugle length.

My original idea was to use King parts from leadpipe through dogleg and smallest bow, use a York Monster E/ medium BBb bell throat and flare, but...
