This Tuba Tuesday the Museum features a York, BB flat tuba, 4 piston, c.1918.

On the bell: “J.W. YORK & SONS / GRAND RAPIDS / MICH” on bell. Ornate floral engraving on bell.

Bell Diameter is 19 1/2″, bore is .654″ & height is 31 3/4″.

The quintessential 4v Model 33. Very nice. Those win my vote for coolest looking 4th valve wrap.
Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC
