This Tuba Tuesday, the Museum features its “Beverly June” Holton, rain catcher BBb sousaphone, which has some of the most beautiful engraving in the entire collection. The exquisite engraving is of a young child named Beverly June and includes other elements that could possibly denote a memorial to the child. This is all on a beautifully gold plated bell. This instrument also has the unique Holton “short action” valve system.
