RIP Neal Sipe

Post by bort2.0 »

I'll post more later, but I just learned that we've lost Baltimore tuba player Neal Sipe. Happened a few months ago, but I just found out about it.

A wonderful man, must have been close to 90 years old. I played alongside him in several bands for about. 5 or 6 years in the early 2000s

Some of the best advice I've ever gotten, was from him, when he told me at nearly age 70 he was planning to buy a Meinl Weston Fafner -- "You only go around once."

Brother Neal, you're right about this. RIP up there my friend. :smilie6: :tuba:
