I'm selling an old King Sousa, probably a 14k. It's been through the war and back, but plays well now. I had the Tuba Exchange do a bunch of work to get slides un-bashed and branches round again. It's on the small side for a BBb, but that makes it very fun to play for Mardi Gras, Polka, whatever. It's mostly raw brass at this point, but I think it looks great. I'm selling because I have too many sousaphones (how on earth does this keep happening?) and I still end up playing a sit-down horn.
I'm asking $2,000. It comes with a Gard gig bag and all the neck and bits you may need.
I am in Durham NC and would prefer not to ship it since there's no hard case, but I'm willing to drive a bit to meet.
