Selling my Selmer Signet sousa because I haven't played it in a year. Plays great and is lightweight; fixed it up over the years. Asking $1250. Serious replies only. Feel free to get in touch to play it yourself. Willing to drive for serious buyers to Raleigh, Charlotte, western NC (Asheville area), Southside VA, up near Roanoke since I'm just off US 220. Sousaphone is located in Greensboro NC. Cash or CashApp for payment.
*Not a huge deal, but I have the valveset bore listed at .728", same as Yamaha sousas. But I think the exact valve bore is around .726", so extremely similar.*

This is a great sousa at a great price. If this Selmer Signet was made new today, it would be over $5,000+ and not made nearly as well as this one...
If the Conn 14k were made new today, it would be over $10,000+ and not made nearly as well as my original Elkhart Conn 14k. I may 'pretty up' the 14k and it's case this spring, we will see. Both are still for sale.
These are both great classic sousas that aren't made anymore.

+1 to what everyone posted. Yes, the Selmer Signet is very close to the Conn 36K. I used to own one. If you don't like the extreme "fishhook" design of the original gooseneck along with the angled thumbscrew bits, a Jupiter gooseneck and bits fit the receiver.

There has to be some sousa players that are fairly close by or come thru my area. Send a message here and come on out to try this classic sousa that 'floats' on your shoulders because it's so light, yet is built like a tank and plays great. *Bump*
