PT-10 BS 3099 $8500

Post by Dallastuba1 »

Hey guys!

Had this up for sale a while ago but ended up hanging on to it because I was still waffling on grad school. Now I am an old man of 30 years old and just don't have a reason to hang on to this.

Probably will be the sexiest and best sounding PT-10 you will ever play on. Bought it new off the TMEA floor years ago and man it just makes me sound way better than I actually am. Vibrant deep sound with very little of the below the staff issues that plague these horns. Low range is about as resonant as you can get on an F tuba, and the mid-high range has so much flexibility and ease of playing. I found 24 was ok for low b-nat and in general tended to go with shorter fingerings because it was easier to slot but thats just me. If I was still palying this horn at all I'd never sell it.

I think new they are like 13ish? I am looking for $8500 and literally you will play on this horn till you die. Ill drive anyway within 5-6 hours of Dallas, but if you wanna split a drive somewhere else lemme know.

I think you'll miss her and wish you kept her.

Even used, they aren't getting less expensive.

(Just the thoughts of a B&S F tuba afficianado/addict.)

When you get older you will wish you had these instruments, but you will have additional responsibilities and no longer have the means to procure them.
