Modern Case for an Old Instrument?

Post by IndianaTuba »

Hello all!

I am looking for a modern-style case/bag for a Conn 84I euphonium. What case options are there for instruments with older-style dimensions?

Length from bell to bow: ~28.5”, Bell diameter: ~11”

Back after years away:
bm SYMPHONIC CC tuba
Conn 84I euphonium
Olds Ambassador trombone

This is the bag that I manage to cram my Alex baritontuba into: (it is a very similar size, slightly bigger bell I think.)

Pretty sure it will fit your horn but ask Gard. I had to remove all the extra padding, and it's a tight fit, but nothing else was big enough. Miraphone bag way too short, protec way too short, although the horn came with a very stretched-out protec that was a tighter fit than I was comfortable with. I doubt a new one would be zippable.
