Sold: B&S Sonora 4v BBb $1,200

Post by arpthark »

Edit: sold, thanks!

Hi all,

Selling this B&S Sonora BBb. It is in good mechanical shape but rough cosmetic shape. I bought it last year planning to pretty it up but it was damaged in shipping and I finally got it stuck back together, and would just like to move on it and make room now. Plays well, good intonation/response.

Condition is as shown. A few patches on some tubing, some burned lacquer, bell is in decent shape with no patches. The leadpipe has been repositioned higher. The receiver is on the smaller side and a standard shank mouthpiece doesn't go in too far, but the horn plays at pitch well with ample room to push/pull if needed. S-links aren't too noisy. First slide is well aligned for easy manipulation.

Asking $1,200. This may be too tall to ship easily, but I can if buyer takes full responsibility of the horn after it's left my hands. Pick up in Connecticut or can drive a ways to meet you in New England or the NYC metro area east of the Hudson. PM me or email beanhillbrass at icloud dot com.
