technical question

Post by bloke »

For you guys to do a whole bunch of repairs, how many burn holes do you allow to get in the front of your shirts before you decide to turn them around backwards and wear them the other way?

Your shirt was burned through your leather apron?

Uhh...

I don't buy clothing accessories that cost more than the instruments I fix.

The sweatshirt I'm burning through right now has an extremely prestigious college's name on it... It's the Gronch Conservatory... which is affiliated with the East McKeesport Community College satellite campus. One of my former students, Buffy Suzannatte Bledsoe, is the Professor of Tuba there. They are a Blesson Internationale artiste (CC) and a Belmar clinician (F).

Both instruments are heavily customized, as I installed o-rings underneath the valve caps and a synthetic water key cork on the other one. Both feature zip ties on the mouthpiece receivers.
