Those are just a big room (Loboda) and a small recital hall (minor) across the hall from one another. Steps apart.

Hopefully the building repairs and upgrades are done so more events can be watched on YouTube. Always hard to pick which thing to see when they overlap, while also finding time to drain one's wallet in the Elephant Room and clog one's arteries in the snack bar. Fingers crossed there will be no government shutdown histrionics.

I don't know what kind of upgrades they may have done, but as I understand it repairs were completed to the point of making the place operational.

I know WHY they host it in Brucker Hall when they can (money), but, Minor is too small and Loboda has rehearsals going on so it can't be used for many things.

Looking at the schedule they put out, Thursday and Friday all day is in Minor and Saturday all day is in Loboda. I guess they are stacking the larger groups on Saturday. At least, this way there will not be overlapping problems. Now if there were only schedule break for the bowling alley!!
Although I like the performing arts center for the big concerts, it is a pain getting there--much easier just to stay on base.
Has anyone seen the vendor list? It would be nice to know who is coming. :smilie8:

My favorite one on Thursday was the Miami Low Frequency Ensemble. Really fun material and the euphonium players had serious skills.
