8 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Post by bloke »

All the band directors were delighted with their back from the dead repaired instruments and slicked out used instruments that we sold to them.

Driving all day, keeping a schedule, answering questions, and having discussions with a whole bunch of different people about a whole bunch of different things is exhausting (at least, it is to me). When we got home, we just got into bed and didn't even need any dinner.

I really positive thing about these trips (I call them "loops") is that I'm reminded that these band directors are fighting the good fight and doing a whole bunch of good out in the world.

If I don't circle back and get some of these customer repairs done - before I go on with more school repairs, some people are going to start becoming annoyed with me.

I'm annoyed with you and you've never repaired anything of mine.

Isn't being annoyed at Bloke the default emotional state?

Depending on the person, I would certainly hope so.

My favorite annoying "parking" people are actually the opposite of parking enforcement. My favorite with whom to be annoyed are those hired by megachurches who stop traffic on the public streets to let all of the church patrons' cars (not just 10 or 15, but perhaps 50 or 100 or even more) go ahead of them, as if the church patrons exiting private property have more right to be on the public street than the people who are already on it.

"Well, - after all, we were in CHURCH, and YOU ALL are just heading off to Walgreens to buy BEER or something...and we also need to get in line at the country club Sunday brunch ahead of everyone else, because...well...BECAUSE!!!"

💩🤡

Where I used to live, it was the actual police that did that . . . always wondered who the bribes went to . . . but, they do it at sporting events as well, soooo . . .
