I had one of these a few years ago as my first C tuba (same bag, too — maybe it’s even the same tuba), and liked it a lot.

I sold Christian this tuba five or six years ago. It’s a nice example of this model. Very tall stovepipe bell, classic German sound. It’s also in very nice shape. Looks like you’ve definitely taken care of it. Good luck with the sale!

These are great tubas! They were sold thru UMI back in the 1990s, both CC and BBb models. I prefer these VMI 'Musica' tubas over many other similar/equivalent tubas.
Great price

How far can it be pushed before the sounds breaks up? More than a 186, or about the same?

^ Dunno if you are asking me, or the OP. But I'll try to respond anyway
I'd say about that same as a Mira 186 for sound limit. But this VMI 'Musica' is very tall, and looks more slim because of that, more like a Mira 185. Yet the VMI leans more Alex 163 or MW 20 in sound.
Think of it like a more refined, slightly smaller Alexander 163-like tuba
