FS:John Packer 379B tuba-SOLD
I am selling my like new John Packer 379B tuba. I bought it at TMEA last February. I added some coins to the 3rd and 4th valve to make it more ergonomic, and had the first valve vented along with adding a rod and stops similar to a 3rd valve slide on a trumpet to have easy adjustments on the 1st valve. This was my favorite B flat tuba at TMEA. Technically this is a 3/4 sized tuba based on size but it puts out some serious sound! I have the original wheeled foam case and a Miraphone gig bag that fits. Not a scratch on this tuba, and it is an amazing horn. Like my handle says, I like e flat tubas for doubling and I found a front action piston gronitz that does everything I need and is smaller. Selling from the greater Houston area, $4,950 plus shipping.
