That is a LOT of money for one in that condition. They usually go for about $200 for ones that both work and are in good condition. The ST-11 is the "better" of the strobes they sold, but only because they are more modern. The older ones, such as the ST-1 through the ST-8, usually sell for more due to the "coolness" factor and retro look, but finding them in fully working condition is less likely, and even ones that do not work can go for about $200 to $300. Of course, there is a fad regarding these, so prices have climbed over the past few years, and the ST-11 is becoming more popular, so maybe this price reflects this trend.

But I wouldn't pay more than about $50 for one that looked that bad. I don't really like that single large wheel design, anyway, so I am probably full of myself on this topic. I am most assuredly biased.
