Re: $20 tuba in Grand Rapids, MI
Looks like they increased the price to $50 and are accepting highest offer.
Someone tried to pull that on me after I already agreed to meet them for the item and had scheduled a meetup time — it was a King 3B trombone they were selling for $100. Once they realized what they had, they tried to turn it into an auction and asked for my highest and best offer. I said no thanks, not doing a de facto auction with some random facebook person.

That particular model is one that I wouldn't buy to resell. If someone gave me one - and it was repairable to sellable condition in a maximum of two hours, I'd get it ready to sell and find someone who wanted a cheap tuba.

If you find an eb of that layout, they're fun. But i suppose you have to like ebs. (and i expect yamaha(/holton?) may not have imitated that model, so wicked old besson?)
