3/4 Jupiter BBb good Old Man rehearsal tuba?
There is one available; a JTU1140. I don't know how much they weigh but my back tells me I need a lighter tuba for rehearsals and casual gigs. What is the downside of a smaller BBb tuba?

Down side obviously is just not as much sound (volume).
Have you read online reviews of that particular model? Users report some negatives, primarily big intonation issues.
I’m betting you are looking at the one at Mighty Quinn Brass and Woodwinds, right? I was looking at it also, which is what motivated me to read the reviews.

Re: 3/4 Jupiter BBb good Old Man rehearsal tuba?
I think that there have been some threads on 3/4 size and old man tubas, but darned if I can find them easily. Anyway (if I were the OP) I’d be tempted to amend the thread’s title to leave out Jupiter and ask the more general question.
Good luck to the OP, though not all will be so I’ve found that smaller Tubas can be a joy to play.
