Post by Grumpikins »

Happy thanksgiving to y'all that celebrate it.

I'm thankful to have a good job, a good home, a loving family, good(ish) health and good friends.

Best wishes.
Eric

Happy Thanksgiving to all! 😘
Depending on what type of system you're on, I'm hoping for the very best -'tomorrow - for your septic field or your town's solid waste treatment plant.

I ate a little bit of everything, but it was still too much.
If I don't have a stroke or heart attack or something tonight, I guess I will have survived.

I insisted on keeping the turkey in another hour and a half longer than was prescribed. I made the right decision, it was tender and because of the brining and everything the breast meat was still quite moist. We had a several hours super tender baked ham that came out first, so no one was missing eating meat... And everyone was still eager for turkey when I was finally willing to pull it out of the oven.

If I wasn't always right, I wouldn't be so bossy. :coffee: :smilie8: :teeth:

"Happy turkey" is an interesting choice of words...

But i was raised on the tales of Shmoos and Sadie Hawkins day, so it isn't such a stretch, i suppose.

But yeah, i too hope everyone is having a find day today!
