Tickets are not free (sorry, I already gave out my two comps), but they can be purchased online or at the door. MSO Principal Clarinetist Jorge Diez will be featured in works by Debussy and Weber, and then the Berlioz will be the second half of the program.

This hall is on a private school campus and has shockingly good acoustics and clarity with just enough ring. I am not happy we are playing out of our home, but if we want it fixed up, we have to let them do the work. This hall is a very good alternative, and I have come to like it the most out of the various locales we have tried out while we have been "homeless".

There is ample, free parking, but a short walk to the PAC.

Great music. TWO TUBAS. Can't beat that with a stick.

If you come, please make an effort to come up on stage (afterward, while I'm packing up) to introduce yourself. Maybe we could get some cheap food afterwards.

This is going very well, and the two clarinet pieces are also pretty dang great.

My former student, Dr. Steven Dixon of William Carey University, will be playing 2nd tuba on the Berlioz.
