Miraphone, Gronitz, Alexander at Horn Guys

Post by ubat »

Time to gossip. After some years decades of importing and selling European tubas I'm closing out the department and am down to six unusual instruments in stock, not to be repeated. Why not repeat? Importing anything into the US is a hot mess right now...and the building has sold. Without tubas a smaller space can be had, with good living to follow. Or so they say.

Last chance tubas at Horn Guys:

$15100 USD Alexander 163 5/4 rotary 5V CC, gold brass bell new
$17800 USD Gronitz PCK 6/4 MAW piston 5V CC silver plate new
$10900 USD Gronitz PF125 MAW piston 5V F polished brass new
$8570 USD Gronitz FZ127 4+2 rotary 6V F lacquer used
SOLD Miraphone 185 rotary 5V CC used vintage, pedigree
$11750 USD Miraphone 283 5V rotary Eb new, fast first slide w/stop

List also includes Adams and JP euphs: https://hornguys.com/pages/daily-menu-o ... euphoniums

All include gig bag. Mouthpieces are additional. Shipping within the US costs $300, prices are plus sales tax if sold in California. International shipping not available.

The instruments are located at my office: HornGuys.com in Pasadena, California.

Thanks for your camaraderie and patronage these many years.

Yes long whole step, modern tuning. It's striking with the open wrap shape, the standard way they do it now. Closed wrap fifth or other tuning by request.
