NB: The term "transport" means from my hands to yours. I do not ship tubas at all, ever.

We have to meet, and normally I am willing to drive out from my house to anywhere in Mississippi, or to a meeting place of our mutual agreement in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Memphis/Southaven, or Tuscaloosa. In the case of this instrument, I am willing to drive farther, but I have limits. If you are interested, post here, and we can exchange contact info privately.

Anybody want to pick up and transport a tuba from Mississippi to Tucson? Since the price has dropped $1000, that $$ gap is available to pay for transport to someone who has time on their hands and likes to drive on I-10.

If you're serious, I can drive it to Dallas for you. I would have to rebuild the valve train of my Jeep's engine first, though.

Except for a couple of appointments, I'm free until about September 6th. I would have to add $250 back to the price to pay for my gas, food, and a night at Motel 6 somewhere along the way. (Dallas is a 12-hour round trip for me.)

I'm a pretty cheap date, as they say…

Mine is small shank, my American shank mouthpieces stick out too far. Now the Cerveny is Euro and they disappear into the receiver. Woe is me. JK, we'll figure it out. I love my new old 186, it has sound that my 1998 wishes it had. If I only had my teenage chops...
