Looking for a rotary F, Philly/Balto area

Post by prodigal »

Hello,

I'm looking for a rotary F in the Philly/Baltimore area. If anyone has a good old Mirafone, B&S, Cerveny or other decent horn collecting dust, please PM me.

Thanks!

I have this Alex F that is fantastic and have been told to take offers. It is literally like new. See the ad here in FS.
I have played it and it is just fine.

Yup I am flat out astonished that this hasn't had a line of people wanting to buy it. I figure it is because the young people haven't heard of Alexander, and they do not know what they are missing.

The lack of F tuba in my arsenal is currently being addressed, within my price range, and most importantly, with spousal (CFO) approval!

I'd love the Alex, but can't right now, maybe some day, but it must sound better than most of the vanilla horns out there!

I wonder what you're paying for what you're getting. Perhaps you did not see that I said the Alex owner is now taking offers, because she wants to permanently leave the country in October.
