I see...I didn't look into them, obviously. ...red round trademark emblem?

The little wrecked Yamaha 104 thread...
It's shaped like a tuba again, and I put an 8-in wheel on a three-phase machine and buffed away all the black from me annealing it over and over again,

I could have taken the bottom bow off and put it on the dent machine and all that stuff but they're just going to mash it in again. It's currently shaped like a tuba... And a good bit better than that.

Sometimes, it's time to really be particular, another times it's time to make something back into an instrument again that's strong and reliable and shaped like an instrument and then go on.

I just saw some more cigarette lighter annealing in another reel... Not that it really annealed anything, but the areas didn't need it anyway.
They also used one of those broomstick handles on their earth magnet, which I believe risks additional denting.
I think it might have been a King tuba.

... I should probably not say anything about these.
What surprises me is that people that do this sort of work feel like they need to advertise.

pot/kettle...??
I put a few things here that probably two or three dozen people look at... No videos... No before/after... People seem to like it...???
Most of my posts about repairs are attempts to deglamorize it, and try to help young people understand that it's the same sort of work as any other blue collar work - such as house framing or shingling or road construction, or floor refinishing, or trash collection... It's just work... It can be done well, it can be done sort of okay. It can be done badly.

That having been said, there's no hocus-pocus, I don't have any cigarette lighters...I have about half to a third the quantity of gadgets that some people seem to pull out to show off in their videos.

It's a lot like music: If you can hear in your mind's ear what it's supposed to sound like, there's a chance that you can figure out how to make it sound that way.

If you can see in your mind's eye what it's supposed to look like and work like, there's a chance that you can make it look and work that way.

The more specific and detailed the concept is in one's head, the more chance there is of transferring these specific and detailed concepts to reality.

Detailed concepts of desired results are more important than prescribed techniques and gadgetry.
