I know a guy who has one that offered to sell it to me last year. I can check with him, and possibly get you in contact.

Keep in mind that a used one will likely cost you between ninety and a hundred bucks. A new one goes for about one-fifty, and Horn Guys has them for $135 right now. Their shipping charge to where I live is $8 via USPS.

I bought one from them last Christmas and can assure you that they are in every way the same as the classic ones from the 1970s. I have one from 1979, and they match.

Josef Klier makes Miraphone's mouthpieces now, and some have changed a bit over the decades, but this is not one of them; old and new match very well.

Horn Guys

Best of luck!

Additional info to consider;

I have a tuba exchange Rose mouthpiece from the mid-late 90s which was my go to for a long time. When I tried out my friends miraphone rose orchestra mouthpiece, it felt and played very much the same. Leading me to believe that the TE was a copy of sorts. I believe it was made by Giddings and I think I read that they are planning to make another run of them.

TE still sells a rose mouthpiece but it looks completely different than mine in the pictures of it on thier website.

There was one identical to mine listed on reverb recently. Might be worth looking into.

Anyway, I'll get you guys in touch asap and you can try to make a deal.

I have one I can sell. It's only a few years old and is in excellent condition. There are a few insertion marks on the shank and some tarnish. $100

PM me if you're interested.
