This cup was in the Alex BBb bag, along with some Hetman lubricants. (I won't use those because changing oils seems to not work well, but there they are -- )
The cup has a very not-sharp rim and I was able to get some amazingly high notes with it with little effort. But it is too wide for my face, as usual. Is there a market for this, at, like, $100 or so? It's clearly used but not beat up. It and a new looking H&B mute are now mine in exchange for having paid to have the Alexes cleaned. I already have an H&B mute and hope I assigned a proper value of $100 to this one.
I do not know how flippers do it -- I would never, ever have thought it would be so difficult to sell something like Alex tubas at fair prices and would not have volunteered to help had I known.
