SOLD Yamaha YCB-861 4/4 CC FS $6500

Post by 2aTubaKnight »

For sale is my Yamaha YCB-861 from 1995. These are quite rare, especially in the US and don't come up often. This horn served me quite well, I've advanced with it in a couple of military band auditions. I've since had some work done to vent the 1st valve slide, and have a Saturn water key put on to it. It has that classic German rotor sound and plays very well in tune.

Horn is in Waynesville, Missouri. Come on down to try it! Also willing to drive a reasonable distance. Not wanting to ship it as of right now.
Asking $6500.

Please email me at 2atubaknight@gmail.com if interested

Did you have the 5th valve slide extended to long 2 steps?

Also, what is the serial number? Is there any engravings on the bell?

I actually had the 5th valve tuning slide shortened to get it a slightly-less-super-flat whole step. No engravings on the bell, SN# 100054 on the valve bridge.
