Looking for solid F Tuba

Post by CamTuba »

Hi! I am looking for a good F tuba (I don't care if it is piston or rotary) within 7-10 thousand dollars. I am based in the Bay Area, but can travel if you require it! Some models I am particularly interested in are used Yamaha 822s, Miraphone 1281s, and any alex F. Hopefully one of you have something I can buy!

Alex F is listed both here and on Phoenix craigslist. Like new condition, gold brass, left hand 5th valve. It is at my house for playtest and pickup, in Tucson.

You can email me at cameronstrahs1@gmail.com. I am very excited to start looking at more horns, as I currently am playing my teachers F tuba. For the B and S, what model is it?

I just realized I can't take PMs. If you have something that could be of interest to me please let me know. Also, I will be at the Pokorny seminar in a few months, so if you are based in the vicinity of Chicago I could possibly take a look at your horn.

I have a MW 45-SLP that rarely gets played. I recently bought a used Yamaha 822 that replaced it. Located in northern Colorado (Windsor). Are you still looking? shon@cskatz.com
