Happy Tuba Tuesday. The Museum today features a Keefer, BB flat helicon, 3 piston, c.1918.

Serial #: 6344/6855

Bell Diameter 28”, Bore Size .685” est.

Comments:

“BRUA C. KEEFER MFG. CO. / MAKER / WILLIAMSPORT PA. / HIGHEST GRADE / 6844” on bell. Floral engraving around identification marks. “6855” on 2nd valve. “Keefer” on opposite side of 2nd valve.

28" is a big bell, at least for a helicon!
