Happy Tuba Tuesday. Today, the Museum features a Conn, double belled, B flat euphonium, 4 piston, 1890.

Serial #: 32009

Bell Diameters 11 3/8″ & 6.0″, Bore .500″, & Height 24 3/4″.

If i believed my eyes (or at least a first impression there of) is this the mythical triple bell euphonium?

Nah, that that is the bell of another instrument hanging next to it mostly off screen (and casting a portentous shadow).

And the thing somewhat obscuring the valves is the name card for the instrument hanging at an oblique angle.
