Happy Tuba Tuesday. The Museum today features a Beaufort, American, EE flat tuba, 3 piston, c.1930.

Bell Diameter 20”, Bore Size .693, Height 36”.


“BEAUFORT / AMERICAN / CHICAGO / USA” on bell. Floral engraving around identification marks.

This instrument was genorously donated by Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Dunlap.

That is a very nice looking tuba. I love the proportions.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.
