Here's what happened on Beale Street tonight
(Facebook screenshot from a report from a local radio station )
...while I was two hours to the east playing a party celebrating 25 years of the town's arts council's existence. (actually Brad Gemeinhardt's hometown. He's about the same age as my daughter, and he's principal horn in the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra).
A very safe distance from Memphis, we are playing some Earth Wind & Fire, some Aretha, some LeAnn Rimes, Willie Nelson, all sorts of stuff, showing people a good time who were having fun dancing to our music. Everyone kept their clothes on, and no one shot anyone or stole anything.

I note the education level of the speaker. Who probably DID graduate from grade school, at least.
