SOLD: For sale is a very nice almost time-capsule example of a 1961 Frank Holton model 185 bell-front euphonium made in Elkhorn, WI. This model is noticably broader in the throat than comparable models by Conn or King and has a sound more reminiscent of a modern euphonium. It comes stock with a third valve tuning slide kicker that is operated by the left hand. It includes the original brown upholstered case and Frank Holton mouthpiece.
There are very few dings or pings on the instrument and the original factory lacquer is at around 90%. It is a very nice player. I am asking $300 plus shipping and tax.

That's a trippy rug. Does it really tie the room together?
And it took me a long time to spot the kicker, coincidentally about as long as to actually read the text and know to look on the 3rd valve slide. It's like those found in trumpets!
Anyway, while i was failing to spot it, i started wondering if there were any connection between slide and tire kicking...
