Howdy y'all! I'm wanting to buy a Miraphone 186-4U (BBb, 4-valve) in good condition, I'm a Tubist of 1.5 years and I really enjoy the musical arts! i need a tuba since I'm out of high-school now and cant rent it from the school anymore, but that isn't gonna stop me from pursuing my dream! all the money I have saved up is 5k so that's my budget and my location is Darby Montana. After I finish repairing one that belongs to a customer which involves putting a new bell on it (see my active thread in the repair forum),

I'll be repairing one that WE own which also involves putting a new bell on it. A couple of people seem interested in it, but it's not spoken for.

I don't know if it's going to be ready to sell by September, but you can watch for me to advertise it. If you find something at a good price sooner than I have this available, go for it.

The one that we will be offering for sale has exceptionally good condition rotors (I've already done a ton of work on the valve section).
As it's going to have a brand new bell, it will be priced right about at your budget.

There was one for sale near to you in Ronan not long ago but looking up the ad it seems to be sold now. If you’re open to something that’s not a 186, I’ve met this guy John in Billings who has a B&S GR51 (PT-605) for $5k.
