Hi, I am rebuilding a York sousaphone for personal use and it is missing it's Gooseneck and Mouthpiece bits. Does anyone know where I can locate these items? I was told the horn is a BBf horn circa 1928 - the measurements for the connection for the gooseneck is 2mm diameter. Thank you! :tuba:

If it’s the Monster sized BBb, @Lee Stofer has made a couple of reproduction necks in the past.

Not sure if it is the Monster - how do I determine this?
Thanks very much York-aholic for getting back to me.

If the inner diameter of one of the valve slides (male end) is .750” it’s a monster. If it’s about .656” it’s there 4/4 model.

Either way, the same repair people could make a new one if they have the right diameter tubing/parts available.
