Looking for: 4/4 BBb $1500-2000

I have a student looking for a full size BBb tuba to use after high school. He’s not playing in college but just wants a decent horn to play at TUBACHRISTMAS or in a community band. His price range is between $1500-$2000. He’d like to play test it and is willing to travel 5-6 hours from southwest Virginia. If you have something or know of one, let’s hear it!

I have a York 700 BBb tuba, 3 upright .750" valves, 18.5" one-piece upright bell, silver, made 1924. It has a rich and powerful sound. I plan, Lord willing, to have it at my exhibit at the US Army Band Tuba -Euphonium Conference Jan.29-Feb. 1, so at least it will be in the same state. I have the silver York priced at $2,000.00.
