I'm glad that SOMEONE called them up and - specifically - asked them this stuff so they would be able to report back here and speak with absolute authority.

I'd bet 1/4th of the amount of a deposit cheque that they ain't depositing any no-shows' cheques...
...but (again, and for reasons that I myself stated) I don't blame them one bit for trying to convince all the applicants that they WILL deposit them.
