The pricing on new sousas are pretty high these days.
The new fiberglass Jupiters are more expensive than new fiberglass Yamahas.
That's crazy...

On overall quality and playing/sound, I'd get Yamaha over anything else new these days. Maybe there is a reason that the Disneyland Band uses Yamaha 411s, as well as (I believe) the US Army Field Band. They sound fantastic
But everyone has their opinions...
The old American sousas (most any make) are probably my favorites though, if in good playing order/condition.
